Some Cool Ones

I only make knives that people order (in general) and I can’t control what “options” they get. But, it seems like lately I have had a few cool ones come through.

Here is a “Tony’s Bushcrafter” in Desert Ironwood Burl.

Next is a Bushcrafter in cocobolo. Not that unusual, except that I got to use mosaic pins on this one.

Next is another Bushcrafter, but in Desert Ironwood burl. I love the burl.

Finally, is the Camp Boner, in cocobolo, and A2 with the forced patina.

So what options do you think would be cool, that you wish someone would order? Maybe someone will be inspired to order one. I like the looks of your curly burch and boxwood burl bushcrafters a lot, though currently I’m on a Mora budget :-)

I’ve been curious lately about Corian (the countertop stuff) as a handle material. I’ve seen pictures of a few knives made with it, but never handled one. All the pictures I’ve seen have been ones done in rather boring solid colors (ivory, etc), too, while Corian is available in some pretty spectacular patterns. I don’t know how suitable it is as a material though. I assume it’s fairly durable, but I don’t know how hard it is to work with, wether it afford a good grip, etc. Have you ever tried it?
