If you have ordered a knife from me in the past, you know that I had a website set up, to pick your knife, all the options, and put a deposit down to get me working on it 
However, I have decided to try and simplify things a bit and not use such a formal ordering system.
My decision to do this is so that I didn’t have to worry about making knives just to cover the costs of the website, shopping card, credit card processing, and on and on. I just want to focus on the knives, and I hope the informal ordering is not an issue. Hopefully, I will get to talk to all of you some more in the process too!
Now, ordering a knife is easy, and fairly informal. All you pretty much have to do is let us know that you want one 
If you look through the “Off The Map Custom Knives” page, all the models I make will be listed. You can click on a specific knife model to find out more about the details of that design, specification, options and pricing. If you want a new design not shown, you are welcome to contact me as well.
Once you know what knife you want, and what options, simply shoot us an e-mail (offthemapoutfitters at comcast dot net) or give us a call at 248-224-8984 and we will put you on our waiting list.
I just work on knives in order. About one week before I get to your actual knife, we will contact you to make sure you still want the knife, and nothing has changed. We will work out the payment after the knife is complete.
If you are not sure what options you want on a knife, or want to discuss opinions on different steels, handle materials, etc, feel free to contact us for that as well.
I will also be adding a couple new models in the next day or two. I will also post those here. So, look for that too!
